Businesses can join Litter-Free Lots program

The Reverse Litter initiative is asking businesses to keep litter out of waterways. Goodwill Industries is the first area company to pledge to pick up litter in parking lots daily.

Litter Stomp is focused on working with community groups to clean up Fort Worth neighborhoods. Gather friends, family members and neighbors to stomp out litter and trash in your neighborhood.

Most cities failing on sustainability

No U.S. cities rank in top 10 of most sustainable cities worldwide. The highest-ranking U.S. cities were Boston (No. 15), Chicago (19) and New York (20). Houston was the highest-ranking Texas city at No. 21.

Trash Bash celebrates five tons of success

About 3,300 hardworking volunteers removed more than five tons of trash from Fort Worth rivers and trails during the May 21 Trinity River Trash Bash sponsored by the Tarrant Regional Water District.

Crud Cruiser is heading to your neighborhood

Now through October, the Crud Cruiser will be in neighborhoods throughout Fort Worth collecting leftover paint, used oil and yard chemicals. You can also drop off these items at the Environmental Collection Center.
