Laetitia Brown joined the City Attorney’s Office as a Prosecuting Attorney in 1997. She is currently the section chief for the Public Safety Section. She handles claims and defends lawsuits involving allegations of federal civil rights violations and state-law torts allegedly committed by Fort Worth police officers or other city employees. Brown also advises city staff on issues related to employee benefits and the City of Fort Worth Employees Retirement Fund.

After graduation, Laetitia Brown served as a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Lee Ann Dauphinot, Second District Court of Appeals. She also worked as an insurance defense attorney for Glenn Holley and Associates before coming to the City of Fort Worth.
