Why is this important?
Per capita income is the mean income computed for every man, woman and child in a particular group. Median household income includes the income of the householder and all other individuals 15 years old and over in the household, whether they are related to the householder or not. This measure can serve as an indicator of a city’s economic well-being.
Performance Analysis
Both median household income and per capita income, when adjusted for inflation to 2017 dollars, have remained relatively flat over the past ten years.
