Fort Worth Youth Advisory Board
The Fort Worth Youth Advisory Board was created in September 2004, and began meeting in January 2005. It is a 27-member board made up of high school students (ages 14-18) who live in the Fort Worth City limits. All members are appointed by Mayor and City Council for two-year terms, as long as each person meets eligibility requirements.
The mission of the Youth Advisory Board is to advise City Council and City staff on issues affecting youth. They meet the 3rd Monday of each month, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in Pre-Council Chambers, City Hall, 1000 Throckmorton St, Fort Worth, TX, 76102. Click here to see a complete list of regular meetings.
