Community Engagement

The Community Engagement team works with residents on building neighborhood capacity and the developing communication networks of city stakeholders, such as faith-based groups, neighborhood associations, schools and non-profit organizations vital to the success of city initiatives and programs.

Each year neighborhood leaders, elected officials, area agencies and city departments come together to share and discover effective ways to actively engage their community.

Join us Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 for this FREE event to be connected with more than forty city departments and area agencies. Attend your choice six workshops focused on the Essential Principles of Neighborhood Leadership. The highlight of this event is the Neighborhood Awards Luncheon, which recognizes neighborhood associations’ efforts to revitalize, socialize, engage, collaborate, get healthy and communicate with neighbors.
