Land Quality

The City of Fort Worth works diligently to assess soil and groundwater contamination issues and determine the best course of action for reclaiming sites impacted by pollution. This includes remediating and ensuring that sites are safe for development, as well as properly managing hazardous materials to prevent future pollution. These efforts improve the economic value of the land, reduce blighted areas, improve community pride, and reduce illegal dumping and other crime.
