At Saturday’s performance, Watson will auction off his guitar and donate proceeds from merchandise sales and a portion of ticket sales to the United Way of Tarrant County for support of the Directions Home program. Directions Home is Fort Worth’s plan to make homelessness rare, short-term and non-recurring by 2018. Thanks to the plan and its partners, there has been an 18.5 percent decrease in the number of people who are homeless in Tarrant County from 2007 to 2009.
