Food Handler Training
Food-handler training classes are conducted at 818 Missouri Ave. Please arrive 30 minutes before class time to register. Attendees must register 30 minutes prior to the beginning of class. Registration ends five minutes prior to class, and there will be no admittance once registration closes.
Fee for the class is $16 per person, payable by cash or credit card. No personal checks will be accepted.
Class size is limited to 40 people. Please do not bring young children to class.

*Need 10 people registered by noon Wednesday or the evening class (5-6 p.m.) will be canceled.
Texas Registry for Food Handler Certification
Managers of food facilities in Fort Worth are required to have a valid Fort Worth Food Manager's Card.
To get the card, you must:
- Earn your food manager's certification from the State of Texas (valid for five years)
- Bring your state certificate and $15 to Consumer Health, 818 Missouri Ave.
The card is valid until the expiration date of the State Certification.
