Fixed Establishment Annual Permit Fees

  • Food Establishment: $285
    • Per employee (maximum of 100 employees): $5
  • Day Care Facilities: $285
    • Per employee: $5
  • Swimming Pool/Spa/Aquatic Sprayground (per pool/spa): $285
    • Per employee: $5
  • Hotel/Motel: $285
    • Per employee: $5

Mobile Food Unit Fees

  • Annual Mobile Food Unit: $285
    • Per employee: $5
  • Annual Push Cart (serving open food): $285
    • Per employee: $5
  • Ice Cream Push Cart: $85
  • Seasonal Permit (14 to 180 days): $200

Temporary Event Permit Fees

  • Temporary Event (the first day): $50
    • Each additional day (max.14 days): $15
  • Administrative Fees (per request if received 3 or less days before event): $20
  • Special Event Permit (closed to general public – invitation only): $200

Farmers Market Fees

  • Annual Farmers Market: $285
    • Per employee: $5
  • Annual Farmers Market Food Vendor: $175

Note: A re-issuance fee of 15 percent of the past due permit amount will be applied to all permits paid after the expiration date.

  • Change of Ownership Fee: $125
  • Pre-Permit Request for Services Fee: $125
  • Re-inspection Fee for Site Visits (per site inspection): -After closure of a food facility, mobile food unit, daycare facility, swimming pool, spa, hotel and motel. $125
  • Food Handler Certificates (valid for two years):
    • Classes taught at Consumer Health’s main office. $16
    • Classes taught at the facility by Consumer Health staff: $16
      No payment accepted on-site. Payment due in full at Consumer Health’s main office (price per certificate).
    • Taught by contract trainer with approved Food Handler curriculum: $12
    • Taught by state approved trainer or on-line provider.
      Reciprocal fee may vary
    • Taught by Tarrant County Health Department (reciprocal fee) valid for 1 year: $10
    • Food Manager Certificate (reciprocal fee): $15
  • Daycare Training Fee (valid for two years): $16
  • Pool Operator’s Course (valid for three years) (pre-registration required): $65
  • Literature Sales (price per page): $0.10
  • Duplicate Permit or Certificate: $5
  • Plan Review Fees: $65–$400
    Based on square footage. Refer to “Schedule of Plan Review Fees”
