Parker County Radio Tower
Fort Worth Wireless Communications and its tower on wheels were deployed to Parker County when a tornado destroyed a radio tower used by Parker County Sheriff.

The City of Fort Worth’s Wireless Communications Division supports the Fort Worth Regional Radio System (FWRRS).

Through partnerships with cities and counties in North Texas, almost 25,000 first responders in more than 110 jurisdictions and organizations in six counties access the FWRRS for either primary communications or mutual aid operations.

Agencies throughout Tarrant County also utilize Fort Worth’s Wireless Communications Division for radio maintenance and programming.

In addition to standard radio services, the division supports remote public safety incidents and events with its mobile communications center, tower on wheels, portable generators, and technical support capabilities.
