School Green Teams

Calling all Fort Worth schools! Keep Fort Worth Beautiful is here to help you start or expand an environmentally-focused club or program on your campus.

Who Can Participate?

The School Green Team program is open to all public and private schools in Fort Worth. This program is also open to homeschool students and after school programs serving students in Fort Worth.

All ages and abilities welcome are encouraged to participate!

Program Benefits

When you sign up to be a School Green Team, you receive educational resources, supplies and support from Keep Fort Worth Beautiful. You also get access to all of our activities listed on this page and our e-newsletter that will keep you informed of program updates and exciting opportunities for your students.

Log Volunteer Hours

Students and volunteers can track the hours they dedicate to litter cleanups and other School Green Team activities outside of school hours on My Impact Page. Activities can be done individually or as part of a group or club.

Request a Volunteer Certificate

If you are a student, parent or educator, you can request a certificate for volunteer hours. Be sure to include:

  • Student name(s)
  • Number of volunteer hours
  • Description of green volunteer activities:
    • Can include activities like participating in a litter cleanup, emptying recycle bins at school, working at a community garden, etc.
    • Does not include mandatory community service or activities performed due to a disciplinary action.
