The Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge 2011
Are YOU one of our winners?
The Mayor’s Summer Reading Challenge 2012 is officially over. The program wrapped up on Sunday, Aug. 12, with a celebration at Central Library. Over 900 people visited the library to enjoy the activities, including live music, balloon artists, story tellers and an appearance by Mayor Betsy Price.
This year’s program was very successful, with more than 6,700 children, teens and adults completing the program. Among those participants, 20 lucky people had their names drawn to win one of our many grand prizes, which include netbook computers, Color Nooks, iPads and Kindle Fires.
The list of winners is below. To claim your prize, please come into the Youth Center at the Central Library. We suggest you call ahead (817-392-7745) to confirm they have your prize ready, and please bring some type of identification with you.
Winners have until Saturday, September 8 at 6 p.m. to claim their prize. Any prizes not picked up by this date will be redrawn for a new winner.
Thanks to everyone who participated and keep reading!
