Chris joined the Fort Worth Library in 2005 as a Public Services Administrator. In 2012, he was appointed Communications and Marketing Manager, and now serves as Assistant Director of Public Service. Before becoming part of the City of Fort Worth team, he worked as a Senior Communications Specialist for TXU, and also held positions with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Lockheed Martin, and the cities of Euless and Grand Prairie.
He holds a master’s degree in library science and a graduate certificate in management from the University of North Texas. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration.
A student of music, literature, culture and public policy, Chris believes that when Aristotle wrote of the “good life,” he was anticipating jazz and baseball. He also is an advocate of the positive role government can play in improving people’s lives.
