Online Databases 

The Fort Worth Library provides the following online databases free of charge to customers visiting our libraries.The Library licenses and pays for many of these databases. Others are provided by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission through the TexShare Program.

Most databases are accessible from outside the library. Click on the "Use at Home" link and enter your Fort Worth Library card number when prompted. Your library account must be clear of fines and overdue materials to use this service from outside the library.

EBSCO eBooks Use in Library | Use at Home 
NetLibrary eBooks are now EBSCO eBooks! Our TexShare EBSCO eBooks collection contains over 27,000 titles and may now be searched in conjunction with other EBSCO database products such as Academic Search Complete. Due to licensing agreements, eBooks in our TexShare collection will not be downloadable to a computer or portable reader. You simply view the book on your computer screen - no checkout necessary. Freegal
Freegal is a downloadable music service that offers access to approximately 3 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. There is no software to download and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions, so you get to keep the songs you download. You may download using your computer or the Apple or Android app. Just search for “Freegal Music” in the App Store or Google Play store. Cardholders may download three songs per week.
