Gordon Trice Photographs

Biography

Gordon Trice, of Fort Worth, is an award-winning photographer who has worked on local and international assignments for numerous well-known enterprises, such as Hyatt Hotels, Smithsonian Magazine, and Williamson-Dickie. His work has been utilized in ad campaigns, annual reports, and other endeavors.

Provenance

The Authors and Illustrators photographs were donated to the library by Gordon Trice on January 29, 2008, and the Lincoln Memorial photographs were donated in 2009.

Scope and Contents Note

The Gordon Trice collection consists of color and black and white photographs. The subjects of the black and white photographs are award-winning authors and illustrators who are affiliated with the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature. The Lincoln Memorial photographs are in color. The portraits are undated, and the Lincoln Memorial photographs were taken in 2009. The collection is arranged in two series, Authors and Illustrators and Lincoln Memorial, and measures 1.75 linear feet (two boxes).
