Edmund Ernest Hull was a job printer and proprietor of the Drug Reporter, according to the 1886 city directory. He resided at 310 Lamar.
In 1887, he married Marguerte Reily and subsequently moved to W. Daggett and Adams on the southside of downtown Fort Worth. Their daughter, Margaret Hull, was born on April 1, 1890.
One of his neighbors was Herbert Hull, presumable a relative and stockbroker with Terrell, Wright, and Hull. The Hulls left Fort Worth after 1896. Margaret Hull was later married to Harry D. Emmert. She died in 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her son, Harry D. Emmert Jr., later moved to California.
The items were in the possession of Harry D. Emmert Jr. when he died in 1990. They were donated by Rick Kallis, a friend of the family, in December 2000.
