eSkills Library & Job Center Classes

Classes are held each month at the eSkills Library & Job Center and are conducted by library staff and other partner organizations. Classes are free to the public. Unless otherwise noted, the classes do not require advanced registration.

3D Printing Design Basics

Learn how to use Tinkercad to design a custom keychain that can be printed on a 3D printer! Children 10 or younger must have a parent attend class with them. Participants must have a valid email address to set up a Tinkercad account during the class.

Computer Basics

Basic computer class teaches participants how to operate a computer, how to use Microsoft Word and tests typing skills.

  • Wednesday, January 29: 2:30 p.m.

Computer Troubleshooting

Students will learn troubleshooting tips for their computers and other devices.

E. S. L. Classes

Learn to speak English. These classes free and open to the general public.

  • Tuesday, January 21: 6:30 - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 25: 3 - 5 p.m.

G Suites

Students well learn the fundamentals of Google applications, including G-Suites, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Chrome, Google Translate, Google Maps and YouTube.

  • Thursday, January 16: 2 p.m.

  • Thursday, January 30: 2 p.m.

After taking this course students will have all the fundamental skills needed to be able to access these applications and utilize in day to day computer environment.

GED Classes (taught in Spanish)

Prepare for the high-school equivalency examination (GED) with the help of Tarrant County College District educators.

Computer Classes (taught in Spanish)

Learn and improve your computer skills. In these free classes, you will learn basic computer concepts, how to use email, the fundamentals of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and strategies for browsing the Internet.

Basic Terms: Microsoft Office & Vocabulary Terms

This class class coversthe basic description of the Microsoft Office Programs and computer vocabulary.

Microsoft Word I

This class class covers the basic functions of the program including creating, editing, saving and printing documents.

Microsoft Word II

This class class covers the basic functions of the program including cutting/pasting; formatting text appearance; creating numbered and bulleted lists.
