Puppetry Festival

Celebrate the 9th Annual Puppetry Festival with an array of fun-filled activities.

Families will be entertained by a variety of puppet shows from around the world; learn about the history of puppetry; make hand puppets with performers from the Lone Star Puppetry Guild; and participate in a collaborative puppet show.

  • 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday, April 22, Central

The event is free and open to the public. Bring the entire family! The festival is co-sponsored by Lone Star Puppet Guild and the Fort Worth Library.

  • 1:25 - 2:00 p.m. Pecos Bill presented by Sandy Shrout (Tandy Lecture Hall)
  • 2 - 4 p.m. Puppet Lab (Sid W. Richardson Discovery Theatre)
  • 2 - 4 p.m. Puppet Testing Zone (Youth Center)
  • 4:10 - 4:40 p.m. Fiesta Mexican with the Dallas Puppet Theater
  • 4:45 p.m. Puppet Parade
