Voter Registration at the Library

You can register to vote at any of our locations. Just ask staff at the desk for a voter registration card during your next visit.

There are several elections in 2020. Below is a list of elections and the dates voting will be happening.

Primary Election
Election Day: March 3, 2020
Early Voting: February 18 - 28, 2020
Last Date to Register: February 3, 2020

City Election
Election Day: May 2, 2020 - Postponed
Early Voting: April 20 - 28, 2020
Last Date to Register: April 2, 2020

Primary Election Run-off
Election Day: May 26, 2020 - Postponed
Early Voting: May 18 - 22, 2020
Last Date to Register: April 27, 2020

Presidential/Federal Election
Election Day: November 3, 2020
Early Voting: October 19 - 30, 2020
Last Date to Register: October 5, 2020

Voting at the Library

We are a designated voting location. We will provide information about locations that will have voting for the City Election once the Tarrant County Elections Administration provides it.

We will post information about voting locations for the other 2020 races closer to each election date.

Voting Resources

  • City of Fort Worth Election: Get information about the upcoming City elections including City Council, Mayor and Bond elections.
  • Tarrant County Elections: Get information about voting in Tarrant County including polling locations, checking your registration, sample ballots and election results.
  • VoteTexas.gov: Election and voter information for Texas residents (site powered by the Texas Secretary of State). Get information about where you are registered, how to vote if you are military or a person with special needs. Also provides information about your rights as a registered voter in Texas.
  • League of Women VotersĀ® of Texas Voting Guide: The Voters Guide is a nonpartisan guide providing voters with information on candidates and issues to help them make informed decisions when they vote.
