From the famous Marsalis family, Delfeayo is one of the top trombonists, composers and producers in jazz today. Known for his ‘technical excellence, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor’ (L. Feather, LA Times), he is 'one of the best, most imaginative and musical of the trombonists of his generation’ (P. Elwood, San Francisco Examiner).
June 16: An Evening with Fort Worth Jazz Legends - Ornette Coleman, Dewey Redman, King Curtis and Cornell Dupree
As part of Fort Worth Local History Month, we are honoring Fort Worth musical greats. Born and raised in the area’s rich, diverse and creative musical environment, these musicians created their own forms and styles of expression from what they heard and are now honored around the world.
Vocalist Breggett Rideau and her all female group perform music from the heart and soul of a woman featuring Jazz, Soul, R&B, Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The Stefan Karlsson Quintet will feature the music of the highly acclaimed German composer, Kurt Weill.
Join the Dana Sudborough Latin Jazz Quartet for original Latin Jazz music by vibraphonist and composer Dana Sudborough.
