Juneteenth 2017

This exhibit depicts the ways African-Americans celebrate the holiday. Across America, people celebrate the 1865 “Freedom Day” by attending church, parades, talent shows, art exhibits, picnics, family gatherings, dances, etc.

On display at Ella Mae Shamblee from May 6 to June 22.
