TECH Truck

The Perot Museum TECH Truck is a mobile innovation lab dedicated to bringing STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, art and math) learning to audiences around the Metroplex. Explore high and low tech with hands-on projects intended to inspire youth to Tinker, Engineer, Create and Hack.


Make and take a miniature robot using simple materials.

Program is 120 minutes, for ages 10 and up and limited to 25 participants. Registration required. Call 817.392.6012.

New Tech Circus

Discover spectacular technology and put it to use. You’ll get to see 3D printers in action, use Makey Makey circuits to discover unexpected conductive materials and play computer games, and build an animal out of recycled parts at the Robot Zoo.

Program is 120 minutes and for ages 6 - 17.

Build A Better World

Drop in for fun, hands-on engineering challenges. You’ll get to build the tallest or the strongest tower using only paper and tape, design colorful paths to code mini robots, or make and race a Derby car out of popsicle sticks, straws, and wheels.

Mystery Art Painting

Combine art and technology for an art bonanza! Use creative tools and materials to paint in surprising ways. What will you make?

Ozobots and Sound Drawings

Design colorful paths to code mini robots and experiment with an iPad app that makes sounds based on your drawings. Create, play and then create some more!
