UNT Health Science Center Presents: Oh! What’s on My Plate?

If you are a picky eater or food lover, come learn about balanced nutrition. You will learn about making healthy food choices by reading Gregory, the Terrible Eater and Good Enough to Eat.

Learning Objective: Participants will increase their health vocabulary, learn to identify food groups and portions control, as well as the six categories of nutrients needed for good health.

Locations with an * are presented in English and Spanish. Program is 60 minutes and for ages birth - 12 and families. You will also learn about www.choosemyplate.gov by playing the Healthy Helping sorting game and creating your own food art.
