Malcolm X: An Overwhelming Influence on the Black Power Movement
Malcolm X co-worker, journalist and lecturer A. Peter Bailey takes a road trip from the nation’s capital to Alabama where the voting rights struggle began in the 1960s. Along the way, Bailey meets with friends and family of Malcolm X and fascinating front-line veterans of the war for civil rights who share their personal stories about Malcom X that provide new insight into how he changed America through revolutionary ideas, actions and strategies. The film also explores how his ideas are still relevant and playing out in today's world.
