Do you know a teen who is considering attending college, but is not sure how to start the process?

From 2-4 p.m. on Feb. 13, the Fort Worth Central Library, 500 W. Third St, will host a session of Launch Pad, which empowers high school students with information and materials necessary to apply for college by providing free individual and small-group college application counseling services.

The Launch Pad coordinator helps applicants demonstrate college readiness, insightful thought and polished responses by developing the application essay and other materials.

Paula Tyler, programming coordinator with the Fort Worth Library Foundation, will facilitate the program.

To learn more or to RSVP for the Feb. 13 session, contact Joseph Jammer at 817-392-6012.
