The Trinity Boulevard area has several infrastructure projects underway to address flooding, traffic signal improvements, increased roadway capacity, safety and economic development. The process takes time and patience, but the end result will be worth the wait.

Projects are in Council District 5.

Here are some updates:

Precinct Line Road from State Hwy. 10 to Concho Trail

The Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor has delayed closing Precinct Line Road at the Trinity Boulevard intersection. Precinct Line Road will close the evening of March 4 and reopen March 10. Precinct Line Road will be closed to through traffic north of the Trinity Boulevard intersection.

All work on the new northbound lanes will be completed before making the traffic switch to the new asphalt roadway and the new portion of the bridge.

Project completion is scheduled for August.

Norwood Drive

The new traffic signal at the intersection of Norwood Drive and Trinity Boulevard is now operational. Intersection improvements will continue over the next three weeks.

Construction at the intersection at State Hwy. 10 is delayed because of an AT&T utility pole conflict. AT&T will remove the pole. This work is tentatively scheduled to be completed by the end of March.

To learn more, contact Project Manager Patrick Buckley at 817-392-2443.

Trinity Boulevard bridge and drainage improvements

The concrete for the bridge deck on the north side has been poured, and the earth fill for the westbound lanes has been placed.

Project completion remains on schedule for June.
