Fort Worth and more than 300 agencies will be joining forces in executing municipal court warrants across Texas in the 2016 Texas Warrant Roundup, which officially begins Saturday, March 5.

The goal of the Warrant Roundup is to clear outstanding Class C misdemeanor warrants and to gain compliance in these cases. Many of the warrants are for traffic-related citations for which the violator failed to appear in court or comply with the judge’s orders.

Marshals and other law enforcement agencies are aggressively pursuing those defendants with active warrants. Authorities warn that arrests can take place at any time and any location, including the defendant’s home, school or workplace.

Notification period: The notification period runs Feb. 19 - March 4, and consists of collection calls and mailed notices to defendants. During this time, anyone who has outstanding warrants is encouraged to voluntarily resolve their cases.

Persons with cases in warrant who voluntarily appear to pay their fines at one of our four payment locations may be eligible for the waiver of some or all warrant and collection fees by paying the remaining balance in full.

Payment locations:

  • A.D. Marshall Public Safety & Courts, 1000 Throckmorton St.
  • Southwest Municipal Court, 3741 S.W. Loop 820
  • Carnival Food Store, 102 NW 28th St.
  • Fiesta Food Mart, 4245 E. Berry St.

Fees may be paid using cash, personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks.

To learn more, call 817-392-6700 or visit the Municipal Court website.
