The last day of operations for the Fort Worth Water Department’s southwest satellite customer service office at 3741 S.W. Loop 820 is Feb. 26. The office is inside the Southwest Municipal Court Building, southeast of the Trail Lake Drive intersection.

Customers can still pay their city services bill online, by phone or in person at any of the 300 Tarrant and Denton county locations that accept Fidelity Express payments, such as grocery stores and neighborhood convenience stores. To pay through Fidelity Express, customers must have their water bill.

The Water Department still operates its downtown full-service customer service location in the City Hall Annex, 908 Monroe St. Operating hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The office closing is a business decision to promote operational efficiencies and to address safety concerns in the Southwest Municipal Court facility. Less than 1 percent of the department’s annual transactions occur at the southwest location, which has been in operation for almost five years.
