Four new SUVs donated to FWPD

Attending the presentation of four new vehicles to the Fort Worth Police Department were Sgt. B. Hill,; Lee Chapman, president and CEO of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan New Car Dealers Association; Bobby Baillargeon, chairman of the association; Mayor Betsy Price; Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald; and Lt. M. Oneil.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan New Car Dealers Association donated four Chevy Tahoe full-size SUVs to the Fort Worth Police Department this month.

The Tahoes will be assigned to the PD’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit to assist in keeping the roads safe.

The association includes about 200 franchised new car dealers in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant and Wise counties. Those dealers represent more than $10 billion in new and used car sales annually.
