Wastewater utility lines will replaced on 15 street segments and alleys in the Como and Arlington Heights neighborhoods as part of a project slated to begin later this month.

Construction is expected to last nine months.

The city’s Water Department will meet with residents at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Como Community Center – located at 4700 Horne St. – to discuss the construction schedule and impacts to residents.

After the utility work is completed, a temporary asphalt repair will be done until the street can be scheduled for rehabilitation or reconstruction by the Transportation & Public Works Department.
