Water main to be replaced on Grace Avenue

The Water Department is hosting a community meeting at 2:30 p.m. March 21 in City Hall Room 380, 200 Texas St., to discuss the replacement of the water main under Grace Avenue from Race to Marshall streets. The construction schedule and impacts also will be reviewed.

Construction is expected to start in the next few weeks.

After the utility work is completed, a temporary asphalt repair will be done until the street can be scheduled for rehabilitation or reconstruction by the Transportation & Public Works Department.
