I-35W to be closed in far north Fort Worth this weekend

I-35W northbound main lanes will be closed from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. April 22 and 23 for construction activities. Northbound motorists will be detoured to the frontage road at Western Center Boulevard and back to the main lanes at Heritage Trace Parkway.

Access to U.S. 287 westbound will be maintained from the entrance ramp north of Basswood Boulevard.

Expect delays. Alternate routes are encouraged. For information about all current and upcoming lane closures for I-35W, visit the North Tarrant Express website.

No additional closures are expected on I-35W south of I-820 this weekend to allow full access to the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival, which runs through Sunday.
