Construction on new north service center neighborhood drop-off station to be finished next month

Posted April 18, 2017

A new north service center, at the intersection of Hillshire Drive and Shire Meadow Drive north of Bonds Ranch Road and east of FM 156 in far north Fort Worth, will locate city staff closer to the residents they serve.

Phase one of the project is constructing the Neighborhood Drop-Off Station at the front of the complex. Construction activities are slated to be finished by the end of May 2017.

Phase two of the project constructs the Administration and Fleet Services buildings. These construction activities are underway and will continue throughout the year.

Scheduled for completion in spring 2018, the new north service center will house Transportation & Public Works field operations crews as well as Fleet Services staff. This new facility will reduce travel time for staff and save money on fuel.
