In an effort to improve the bus stop experience for Fort Worth transit users, Leadership Fort Worth is seeking ideas for sustainable, functional and creative bus shelters for locations with limited space available.

The Small Stops Bus Shelter Design Competition seeks to integrate innovative and compelling bus shelter design in Fort Worth’s urban fabric. The competition seeks proposals that improve the bus stop experience for transit riders.

Two shelter locations will serve as design sites for the competition:

  • East side of Eighth Avenue just south of Magnolia Avenue.
  • North side of Pennsylvania Avenue just west of Henderson Street.

There is no entry fee, and there are two categories: professional and student. Design submissions are due by 5 p.m. May 10.
