Dive-In Movies at Forest Park Pool make a splash this weekend

The Park & Recreation Department is hosting its first Dive-In Movie of the summer this weekend at Forest Park Pool, 2850 Park Place Ave.

Participants will have the opportunity to spend an evening at Forest Park Pool with family and friends while watching a movie on a poolside big-screen. Guests will receive one free hotdog as part of their admission, and additional concessions will be available for purchase.

The Mummy (1999, PG-13) 6:30-10:30 p.m. June 24 Purchase tickets

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (1982, PG) 6:30-10:30 p.m. July 22 Purchase tickets

Tickets are $8 per person and $30 for a family four-pack. However, on the day of the event, prices go up to $10 per person and no family discount will be available.

Completely clear inner tubes will be allowed at Forest Park Pool for these events. Pool noodles will also be allowed, and a limited amount will be available for rent at the pool. Outside coolers may also be brought in, but alcoholic beverages, glass containers or silverware are not allowed on the premises.
