Red roadways are closed. If traveling on Interstate 20, detour following the arrows on the solid green line. For those traveling on Bryant Irvin, follow the arrows on the dotted green line.

The Texas Department of Transportation will close the eastbound main lanes on Interstate 20 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. June 14-15 for demolition activities, weather permitting.

Eastbound I-20 motorists will exit at Bryant Irvin Road, follow the detour route along the frontage road and enter I-20 at River Ranch Road. Northbound and southbound Bryant Irvin Road will also be closed at I-20 during this closure to facilitate the detour.

In addition to the closure of eastbound I-20 and Bryant Irvin Road, the direct connect ramp to northbound Chisholm Trail Parkway will be closed. Motorists will follow detour signage to access the Chisholm Trail Parkway.

The $3.9 million Bryant Irvin Road Bridge widening project over I-20 is a collaborative effort between the City of Fort Worth and TxDOT to improve mobility on a key north-south thoroughfare in southwest Fort Worth. The project will widen the existing Bryant Irvin Road Bridge over I-20 and improve the sidewalks, signals and illumination. The project is estimated for completion in 2018.
