Public meetings seek feedback on fair housing

Attend one of the upcoming public meetings to find out more about the ongoing Assessment of Fair Housing and to provide comments on the process.

The Assessment of Fair Housing is a requirement for the City of Fort Worth and Fort Worth Housing Solutions so they can continue to receive federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The analysis covers many issues, including demographics, racial and ethnic concentrations, access to housing, and accessibility issues for people with disabilities.

Residents are encouraged to attend any of the meetings to find out more about the assessment and to provide comments.

July 12, 7-9 p.m. Council District 6, Chisholm Trail Community Center, 4936 McPherson Blvd.

July 20, 7-9 p.m. Council District 5, Brighter Outlook, 4910 Dunbar St.

July 31, 7-9 p.m. Council District 8, Bethlehem Center, 951 Evans Ave.

Aug. 7, 7-9 p.m. Council District 7, Eaton High School, 1350 Eagle Blvd., Haslet. This meeting has been postponed.

Aug. 8, 7-9 p.m. Council District 7, UNT Health Science Center, MET Room 109-1011, 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd. This meeting has been postponed.
