Mayor Betsy Price’s wide array of public engagement efforts — whether they involve walking, cycling, tweeting or sipping a cup of coffee — have proven to be a valuable way for Fort Worth residents to stay informed about city issues while sharing questions and ideas. But there are always new ways to communicate, right?

Price’s first Facebook Live Town Hall is scheduled for noon-1 p.m. Aug. 9. Submit your questions via Facebook, email or simply join the event on Aug. 9 to share your ideas.

“Community engagement is key to a thriving city,” Price said. “For the last few years, I’ve worked hard to bring conversations to you and have pushed the limits of public engagement by hosting rolling, walking, caffeinated and Twitter town halls. Your feedback has been a huge part of what makes this city a place we are proud to call home. In line with this mission, we are launching Facebook Live Town Halls. So post your questions, comments and ideas on how to keep improving Fort Worth.”
