At the Hillshire Drop-Off Station, residents unload their own materials and place them in the appropriate waste container.

Fort Worth’s newest drop-off station is opening Saturday, Sept. 9, to serve the residents of far north Fort Worth. This is the city’s fourth drop-off station and the first in far north Fort Worth.

The station is at 301 Hillshire Drive and is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

Drop-off stations are open to Fort Worth homeowners and some renters for disposal of trash, brush, recyclables, household chemicals and donated items. To use a drop-off station, show a recent Fort Worth water bill or current driver’s license with a Fort Worth address to prove you have an active sanitation account. Renters with a Fort Worth address may use drop-off stations if they have a current Fort Worth water bill. Apartment renters may use the stations for recyclables only.

See a detailed list of items accepted at all of Fort Worth’s drop-off stations.
