Register to attend community engagement workshops, neighborhood awards

Registration is now open for the Mayor’s Community Engagement Workshops & 2017 Neighborhood Awards, to be held from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Riley Center at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1701 W. Boyce Ave.

Mayor Betsy Price, councilmembers and the Community Engagement Office will recognize neighborhoods for beautification and revitalization efforts, social and cultural events, collaborative projects, health and wellness campaigns, and excellent communications efforts.

Before the awards luncheon, neighbors may choose to attend up to three workshops with topics including Crime Prevention Strategies, Neighborhood Revitalization, The War on Litter and more.
