Dallas Mavericks point guard Yogi Ferrell stopped by the Shamblee Branch Library to share one of his favorite stories with Fort Worth young readers.

The Fort Worth Library is participating in the North Texas Mavs Reading Challenge, an 11-week program designed to improve reading literacy throughout North Texas and encourage the love of reading for kids of all ages. The challenge runs through March 18.

Pick up a reading log bookmark at any Fort Worth Library branch and track your reading for a chance to win prizes from the Dallas Mavericks and presenting sponsor Whataburger. Log your reading on the log each day to earn a Whataburger certificate and meal.

Keep reading through spring to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Once 25 days of reading have been completed, register for the drawing.
