Ninety percent of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Fort Worth respondents reported a willingness to start a business in the current economic climate, and about 58 percent of them believe the U.S. economy will improve during the next six months.

Entrepreneurs’ Organization Fort Worth was founded in 2012, and the chapter consists of 71 members. Each member is the founder of a business with at least $1 million in annual revenues.

“We live, love and operate our businesses in the greater Fort Worth area,” Entrepreneurs’ Organization Fort Worth president-elect Don Williams said. “Our members are increasingly bullish on the Fort Worth and Texas economies. We’re thankful Fort Worth is a great place for business, and we expect conditions to continue to improve.”

The EO Global Entrepreneur Indicator Survey examines the current economic market for entrepreneurs and gives insight into their predictions for the next six months. Additional survey findings:

  • Access to capital is expected to increase by 45.2 percent in the next six months, a 16.2 percent increase.
  • 95 percent of global survey respondents reported a willingness to start a business in the current economic environment.
  • Business revenue in Texas is projected to increase by 84.9 percent, while the global average increase is 82.7 percent.
