Learn about a plan to widen the I-20 main lanes between Winscott Road and Bryant Irvin Road at an open house from 6-8 p.m. April 16 at Christ the Redeemer Church, 6116 Southwest Blvd.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and receive input on the proposed widening project to construct one auxiliary lane in each direction between Winscott Road and Bryant Irvin Road. The project is expected to relieve main lane congestion and enhance safety and mobility. The one-mile project is estimated to cost $22 million.

This project is not related to the proposed Clear Fork Emergency Access Bridge that the City of Benbrook is currently studying.
