UPDATE: Both courses are now sold out. There are waitlists should someone cancel. We hope to schedule more sesssions in the fall.

Would you know what to do if you ever found yourself in an active shooter situation?

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course is designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT). The course provides strategies and guidance for surviving an active shooter event.

Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, and demonstrates examples of things to do in case of an active shooter event.

This potentially lifesaving program is open to the public and will address what individuals need to know to look out for their individual safety. There is no charge to attend these training sessions, however, please register in advance to ensure seating.

That training will be offered to Fort Worth residents during two sessions this month:

Both sessions will cover the same material. There is no charge to attend, but attendees should register using the links above.

Please note: the presentation contains realistic material and reenactments that some attendees may find graphic in nature. Discretion for sensitive audiences is advised.
