Restaurateurs invited to discuss organic diversion options

Join a conversation on organic diversion and discuss the food waste challenges that many restaurants face, along with options such as composting.

The meeting will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at Locavore, 715 Hawthorne Ave.

Guest speakers will include representatives of the city’s Material Management Program, Cowboy Compost and Organix Recycling.
