Economic Development Department wins two minority business inclusion awards

Posted May 10, 2019

Fort Worth’s Economic Development team picked up two recognitions from the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council at the recent Buy Those That Buy Us (BTTBU) Recognition Breakfast. The event took place at Toyota headquarters in Plano.

Only 11 buying entities won a Best Practices Recognition award, with the City of Fort Worth Economic Development Department being one of them. The department also received a BTTBU Recognition Among Top 40 Companies award. It received the same honor in 2018, as well.

BTTBU highlights the best-in-class practices that demonstrate real results in minority business inclusion.
