The Fort Worth Police Mounted Patrol opened its covered arena at 1901 N. Las Vegas Trail.
This all-weather training facility will allow the unit and others to participate in all types of training rain or shine.
The Citizen Support Group helped make the facility possible and places the local unit at the forefront of police mounted patrols.
In addition to the newly-opened covered arena, the equestrian complex features 5,600 square feet of office space, 17,000 square feet of air conditioned barn space, locker rooms, a community room and exhibit space.
