Hundreds of pets are waiting to find new homes at this summer’s Mega Adoption Event.

The Fort Worth Animal Shelter is partnering with the Humane Society of North Texas to host the largest shelter pet adoption event in Fort Worth. The inaugural Mega Adoption event was held in December 2018 with more than 800 pets finding their forever homes. It was an amazing event like no one had ever seen.

The “summer edition” event will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 29-30 at Will Rogers Coliseum, Cattle Barn 1. Admission is free.

All the pets have been spayed/neutered, received rabies/core vaccinations, microchipping, medical exam and 30-day pet insurance.

Every pet that comes through the doors of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter and the North Texas Humane Society has a story, often one of being abandoned. It’s the goal of both agencies to find loving homes for all of these incredible pets.

The Mega Adoption event is made possible by the Petco Foundation and BOBS from Sketchers.
