City, PeopleFund plan open house to discuss opportunities for small businesses offering healthy food access

The City of Fort Worth and PeopleFund are partnering to ensure Fort Worth small-business owners have financing to create more opportunities for healthy food access.

The partners are hosting an open house that will feature an engaging panel of healthy food and small-business experts, breakfast sponsored by Blue Zones Project Fort Worth and more information about the city’s support for healthy food access and capital opportunities for small businesses.

The open house will be at 8:30-10 a.m. Oct. 30 at the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center, 1150 South Freeway.

Learn about loan products and interest rate discounts for small businesses offering healthy food access.

PeopleFund creates economic opportunity and financial stability for underserved people by providing access to capital, education and resources to build healthy small businesses.
