Global Entrepreneurship Week returns to Fort Worth Nov. 14-22

Global Entrepreneurship Week returns to Fort Worth with a bang this year, with more than 50 events throughout the city that are meant to inspire, connect and engage Fort Worth’s entrepreneurs and innovators.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is part of a worldwide event that reaches 170 countries — more than 5,000 events are planned the United States alone.

Global Entrepreneurship Week Fort Worth will take place Nov. 14-22, and its variety of event locations are intended to highlight different parts of the community, showcasing local hubs of entrepreneurship that residents might sometimes overlook. The list of venues also includes several branches of the Fort Worth Public Library, as well as educational hubs like UNT Health Science Center, Texas Wesleyan University, Tarrant County College, TCU and the University of Texas at Arlington.

“Fort Worth’s startup community is thriving, so we’re really excited to celebrate it during Global Entrepreneurship Week,” said Robert Sturns, economic development director for the City of Fort Worth. “Small-business owners and entrepreneurs of all ages, backgrounds and skillsets are all invited to come out, attend the events, network and connect with like-minded individuals across the city.”
